Sourcing / Sales of metals (ferrous and non ferrous); castings, forgings, billet, pipe, tubing, plate, sheet/coil, tool steels, structurals, flanges, fittings and other fabricated metal forms, all adhering to ASTM Standards. Totally computerized (consultant serviced) Novell Network computer system, including: laser printers, electronic “e” mail, labeler, desktop faxing capabilities (Fax modem). Completed with individual computer units per each salesman with respective sales contact management program.

Zidell Valve Corporation, , (company re-named and re-organized as Zytech – relocated to Stafford, Texas). Houston headquarters location. International Sales Department. National – eight (8) multi-location computer linked regional warehouses; with separate manufacturing plant sites for one (1) product line in Houston, Texas, other manufacturing plants in Italy, Czechoslovakia, Romania, Taiwan, China and Japan. API 600 cast steel/cast alloy-wedge gate, globe and swing check valves. API 602 and 606 forged steel valves, API 6D monogrammed side and top entry through conduit trunnion mounted ball valves, API 608 floating metal ball valves, all to API 591 quality assurance guidelines with testing to API 598. Qualified as an API Q1 approved vendor, moving towards ISO 9001 & 9002 by January 1994. Forged steel fittings and flanges, forged globe valves, bronze and cast iron gate, globe, lift-swing-ball-check valves. Other applicable standards: API 603, MSS-SP-55, Nace MR 0175, API 607, API 6FA etc. Modifications and actuation for valves.

Inc. – the Walworth Company, – Houston headquarter international sales office for Mexican based manufacturer of oilfield equipment/API valves – wellheads/ industrial valves, (company since re-located / re-organized as the Walworth Company in Houston, Texas).
· Customer Service Representative / Inside Sales / Assistant to Product Line Manager. Full time, permanent, salaried position with full benefits. PC operations – applications (Lotus, WordPerfect) for F.I.P. pipeline valves division. U.S. start-up for API 6D through conduit pipeline slab gate, expanding gate and trunnion mounted side entry ball valves. Domestic U.S. and international sales contact for manufacturing plant in Mexico City. Physically sent to Mexico City (July 1991) manufacturing plant for training, five (5) days. Assigned as Floor Salesman to the Houston 1992 OTC show – Lanzagorta Floor Exposition. Formal valve quotations, actuator “buyouts” and valve application. Support and backup for outside sales. Main responsibility: to read, understand and respond to formally prepared international and domestic oilfield valve specification, technically and commercially.

August 1990 to March 1991 (8 months) – Hydraulics / Pneumatics Distributor, (applications – engineering multi-branch regional stocking manufacturers distributor). Industrial Air and Hydraulics, , (company out of business since 1991). Hydraulic/pneumatic: Valves – pumps – motors – cylinders – parts – fluid power components. Totally computerized operation – IBM mainframe.
· Commissioned Inside Salesman with some assigned accounts. Full time, permanent position with benefits. Heavy phone contact, quotations/applications, CRT order entry, expediting, inventory checks, credit checks, customer will call/walk in sales; constant interaction with manufacturers company distributed for U.S. regional and domestic sales for export to Mexico.

October 1989 to August 1990 (11 months) – Valve/Instrumentation Manufacturer’s Representative / Manufacturer, Groth Corporation, Pressure relief specialists – Valves and Instrumentation. Specialized market segment to: Petroleum/petrochemical process plants, engineering & contracting firms, OEM’s: U.S. Regional, U.S. National and U.S. Domestic sales for export.
· June 1990 to August 1990, Commissioned Inside Salesman, Manufacturing Division: API 2000 atmospheric tank storage breather vent valves, process line flame arresters, digester gas equipment, level control switch capcitance displacers.

January 1982 to August 1988 (six (6) plus years) – Oil Production Company – overseas. P.D.V.S.A., formerly Lagoven S.A., Production affiliate to the Venezuelan State Oil Co., P.D.V.S.A., South America. Also, formerly the Creole Petroleum Oil Corporation, the Venezuelan operating division of Esso Oil. · November 1987 to August 1988 (10 months physically in Venezuela). Project assignment to Caracas Headquarters, Materials Department Warehouse Analyst for continued development and August 1988 start-up on new updated department mainframe computer system; system dealing with information control and administration of said departments daily transactional load, (technically an IBM 3090 model 20E, 128 megabyte, 32 channel, 33 mips with capability of 100-200 concurrent simultaneous users; up to 2 million records updated and/or accessed daily online, with 25,000 to 45,000 of these transactions realized in eight (8) hours, 15-200 terminals, 44 printers). In charge of warehouse module, line and batch testing and department warehouse user manual, (manual done in Spanish). Orientation of company in-house computer department programmers to Materials Department needs. Trainer/Training- presentations; Material Department leader within mainframe computer module for: Eastern, Western, Amuay Bay refinery operating field divisions and, Caracas headquarters. Attended and completed forty (40) hour course, (June 1988), designed to facilitate introductory training in order to institute new computer system. Supervision of contracted technical writers in the organization and design of the warehouse computer user manual based on the “GEM” system; Exxon USA, (above mainframe computer warehouse module completed August 1988).
· June 1987 to November 1987, (6 months physically in Venezuela). Materials Department, Western Operating Field Division, Lake Maracaibo. Assigned to the planning and inventory controls section as materials analyst for API oilfield tubular goods (OCTG) and API oilfield production equipment, (MRP: Materials Requirement Planning). Duties: Servicing internal company customers; outside control of service orders to contractors, specialized manufacturer’s and inspection services, inventory and price reconciliations due to equipment movement to and from service contractors - other operating affiliates and other company departments, outside contract supervision, purchasing and follow-up assistance, inside control to in-house company fabrication and welding stations. Primary function: to supply petroleum engineering department’s yearly forecasted workover, drilling and production needs which were constantly updated on a quarterly basis subject to world oil market fluctuations.
· April 1984 to April 1985, (12 months physically in Venezuela). Transferred from eastern field division to Caracas Materials Department Headquarters to continue International Purchasing function for the then developing and project approaching deadline concerned with the pipeline-storage-alternate fuel supply (SCADA) system, pipelining from Venezuela’s central coastal area to the greater Caracas metropolitan area. At conclusion of participation in said project, April 1985, awarded full two (2) year company scholarship to pursue technical studies in oil & gas, Kilgore College, Kilgore, Texas (1985-1987).
· January 1982 to April 1984, (24 months physically in Venezuela). Materials Department, Eastern Division, (Administrative center for the then developing Orinoco River extra heavy crude oilfield; 1983 total international disbursements at 35 million U.S.D.). Duties: purchasing/field coordination, (MRO: Maintenance, Repair & Operations) of oilfield, construction, community infrastructure materials to affiliates in Houston, Texas and The Hague in Holland. Throughout 1983-1984 assigned repeatedly to international purchasing function at Caracas headquarters, culminating in 1984 transfer.

November 1978 to May 1981 (2-1/2 years) – Local Industrial Supply Distributor / Re-seller. Houston Tool and Hoist Company,
January 1979 to May 1981, Industrial Inside Sales/Assistant to President. Quotations, applications, sourcing and supply to end users, OEM’s, resale accounts and company outside salesmen. Coordination of domestic sales for export to Mexico and, assistance in oilfield equipment exports to Maracaibo, Venezuela, South America. Duties: “Buy outs,” inventory control, ordering to factory, direction and assistance to other inside sales personnel, warehouse personnel and occasionally, outside sales personnel.
