CONSTRUCTION/COMMISSIONING MANAGER - I am presently employed as site construction & commissioning manager for a variety of water treatment projects worldwide. The most recent and present day project being the Bohai FPSO sea water filtration/water injection system in Sembawang yard Singapore
July 2002 –Jan 2006 Ferrybridge ‘C’ Power Station
ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES ENGINEER – I was responsible for the provision of project management, design & installation of chemical storage & dosing systems, technical advice and commissioning support to the Water Treatment Plant to include Ion Exchange & Reverse Osmosis plants as well as provide advice on compatibility of materials/processes

CONSTRUCTION AND COMMISSIONING ENGINEER
During this period I was employed on various power station, chemical industry, waste water treatment and effluent treatment projects as construction/pre-commissioning and commissioning engineer.
My duties included the maintenance and servicing of plant and equipment associated with these projects
I also was involved in the design and implementation of various Occupational Health monitoring programmes to include dust, solvents, Ozone and sulphur dioxide

ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER – Responsible for preparation of IPC licence applications for various industry sectors, Computer modelling techniques for air and groundwater pollution, Site suitability assessments for small-scale wastewater treatment systems, Process/Safety audits.

PROJECT ENGINEERING LEADER – Duties included the commissioning and operations of
various sewage (aerobic and anaerobic) treatment systems including sludge treatment processing.

PROCESS COMMISSIONING ENGINEER – Part of team responsible for the management of the installation, pre commissioning & commissioning of the following systems:
Water Softening and Demineralisation, for process, and boiler feed water.
Fluidised bed boilers (65 bar) x 2, Steam turbine & alternator set
Sewage reticulation and treatment facility.
Carbon dioxide: recovery from flue gas, purification and liquefaction.
Calcining of sodium bicarbonate to sodium carbonate (soda ash).
Conversion of light soda ash to dense soda ash (using high-pressure compaction equipment).
