Summary |

Reporting to the Construction Lead for the implementation of internationally recognized safety standards related to Rigging and Lifting. Co-ordination of the scaffolding, painting and insulation contractor to ensure the project demands is met. Risk Assessments and Method statement preparation including the execution of tandem lifts cross hauling, installation of mechanical equipment and isometric piping spools within a live gas plant.

Accountable to the Bp Project Procurement and Logistics Manager for the execution of all supply and river vessel loading and discharge to meet the HUC delivery schedules. Supervision of the national rigging team controlling all external storage areas, quayside and lay down areas within the satellite supply base. Responsible for Risk Assessments, Lifting Plans and Method Statements, all portable and permanent lifting gear certification and maintenance schedules of lifting appliances. Advisor to the Bp Supply Base Supervisor for recommending methodology and equipment, to conform to both TMOL and Bp Safe Systems of Work procedures.
