Working on behalf of BP / AIOC as Area Authority and Senior Authorised Electrical Person in charge of interface work between EOP and STEP (Sangachal Terminal Expansion Project). Supervision and control of Tkaz labour during installation of 2nd feed separator and commissioning of new installation. Completion of GOC on behalf of client and Area Authority for all electrical permitry. Responsible for ensuring safe and smooth tie-in’s between existing and new plant and the integration of HV & LV electrical systems, instrument, control and safety systems. Later taking over as Area Authority for all construction and commissioning tie-in’s to ACG Phase 1, 2 & 3 as hydrocarbons were introduced to the plant. Monitor, log and control all aspects of sub-sea cable laying operations using Global Marine Systems’ NAVSLACK cable lay program.
