Our Client, an international design & project services company, with a recognised global reputation providing professional services to the energy, resource & complex process industries, have requirements in their Hydrocarbons division for Piping Engineers to work on Refinery & Gas Pipeline Projects based in Perth Western Australia.
To work as part of the team & carry out engineering design activities as directed by the Lead Piping Engineer,

QUALIFICATIONS:
BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) + 5 years post graduation experience.
Significant experience in the oil & gas industry & with knowledge of appropriate international piping codes & standard
Experience with Caesar II or Autopipe piping stress analysis software.
Good working knowledge of manual calculations relevant to stress analysis & familiarity with relevant codes & standards pertaining to the oil & gas industry.
Preference will be given to candidates with extensive work experience at an appropriate level within the oil & gas industry.
Must have ability to work with groups of engineers & designers within discipline teams, in the execution of project tasks.
Sound technical knowledge of the discipline
Significant previous experience with a major engineering design services provider
Some ‘hands-on’ experience in a construction or operating plant environment would be an advantage
Able to work semi-autonomously with minimal technical guidance
Fluency in spoken & written English
