As a leader in Wastewater services globally, our client provides a full spectrum of water infrastructure and environmental services, specializing in managing projects from conception to execution. Our client is looking for a dynamic person to join their Melbourne office as a Principal Contaminated Sites/Remediation Specialist and Project Manager. The Environmental services group?s work in Australia is concerted in the areas of contaminated soil and groundwater characterization and remediation, contaminated sediment management, groundwater resource management, and contaminated site auditing, for major industrial, petrochemical and government clients throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia. As a principal environmental scientist/engineer your key duties will include, but not be limited to; Providing strong technical oversight and management of multiple, complex remediation projects Leading communications with clients, other external stakeholders, and internal project teams. Water quality and sediment regulations. Project management. Risk-based decision process for sediment soil, and groundwater contamination. Sediment investigation and remedial technologies. Remedial design and construction for sediment and other contaminated sites. Proposal preparation and business development
You must have a B.S. degree in Chemical, Environmental, Civil or related Engineering discipline, or Geology or Hydrogeology degree with 10 -15yrs experience and expertise in completing contaminated sediment investigation and cleanup projects.
