Due to the current growth our client is experiencing in our Clients Minerals & Industry sector group, we require a PRINCIPLE MECHANICAL ENGINEER to work on a variety of existing and future projects. You will be reporting to the Business Group Manager – Minerals, for operational issues.
To be successful you will possess:
• a Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent tertiary qualification
• 15 years experience including experience with materials handling & transfer systems within the mining sector
• 8+ Experience with materials handling, transfer systems, crushing & screening facilities, utilities such as pumping, piping, workshops and cranes within the mining sector
This will be supported by design experience on general mining projects including experience with materials handling as well as excellent communication skills, both oral and written, demonstrated commercial acumen, customer focus and business analysis skills and the ability to work to deadlines and under pressure. You must also be self confident, driven, a good problem solver and an innovative and creative thinker.
You will be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills, and the ability to work to project deadlines. Excellent written & verbal communication skills coupled with strong analytical and problem solving skills will be well regarded for this role. An attractive remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful applicant, commensurate with skills and experience.
