Job Description

Leading manufacturer of consumer electronics based in Florida has an immediate need for a Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 8 years of mechanical design experience in the consumer electronic industry using Pro/Engineer Wildfire 2.0 3D and Parametric Solid Modeling CAD tools. Experience working with metals and plastics including injection molding a must. Experience in designing keypads remotes elastomers a plus. Duties to include support of mechanical and industrial engineers in detailed modeling drafting and documentation of product offerings for manufacturing. Candidate must be able to read and understand product vision marketing specs functional specs project scheduling and be able to manufacture drawings based on approved Industrial Design. Experience working with Asian entities a plus. Company offers an excellent benefits package that includes medical and 401k with an excellent matching program.
