Power generation company in the Knoxville TN area are in search of a Research Engineer for an immediate direct hire position. Qualified candidates will have a BSChE OR BSME with Five or more years experience working on process modeling in the Petrochem industry. Must have experience with analyzing techniques and interpretation of experimental data thermodynamics and knowledge of gas/liquid absorption chemical kinetics and Vapor/Liquids/Solids equilibrium. Skills you should have; Data regression process simulation using Aspen simulation of reaction systems and pinch analysis. Responsibilities include; Responsible for the process model development and improvement for CO2 products (Chilled Ammonia or Advanced Amine) as well as the regression of the data acquired in lab experiments and pilots into the process simulation models.
