World class hydro engineering company has immediate need for two Mechanical Engineers (Turbine Operations Engineering) at its suburban York PA location. Ideal candidates will have a BSME and 3 - 5 years experience in machine design stress analysis proficiency with CAD software and 3D modeling; PE registration is desired. Experience in power generation (non-nuclear) ship building mining large rotating equipment are all very applicable to this type of job. Position will be responsible for mechanical design and analysis of new and existing hydro products support of manufacturing and field operations and considerable interface time with customers and suppliers. Will also be responsible for reviewing cost estimates and recommending appropriate actions; determines design changes modifications and standardization to facilitate manufacturing; operates CAD/CAE equipment to complete work assignments; creates 3D solid models of components and assemblies; assists drafters with use of 3D solid models.
