Job Description

Major Texas Electric Utility has immediate need for a Senior Sourcing Specialist at its suburban Austin TX location for a six month Temp-To-Perm position. Ideal candidate will have a BS Business Business Administration or Engineering with 8 - 12 years experience in industrial process construction and construction contracting. Experience as administrator for contracts in an EPC firm; contracting for a refinery ethanol plant utility generating facility peaker plant are all a good fit for this position. Position will be responsible for preparation of requests for proposal bid documents bid award contract negotiation contract execution contract close out when the project is completed. Will track the progress and maintain records for the contracts as executed and keep all parties necessary informed of the progress. Must have experience working with subcontractors and suppliers for large EPC type projects preferably in utility construction arena.
