IMMEDIATE NEED! Client located near Albany NY is actively looking for an experienced Lead Chemist to join their Analytical Chemistry Group. The Chemist MUST HAVE a B.S. Chemistry or B.A. Chemistry Degree and equivalent work experience! Experience in ICP-AES ICP-MS and with Inductively Coupled Plasma Atomic Emission Spectroscopy Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry and Ion Chromatography is desired! The applicant will conduct simple routine complex qualitative and quantitative chemical and physical testing. Develop test methods as required to satisfy RandD engineering and quality control needs! Conduct research to develop validate standardize and implement new procedures while repairing maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment and instrumentation. Must be knowledgeable of hazardous/non-hazardous waste generation practices and of intra-plant hazardous/non-hazardous waste transportation practices! The Chemist must be able to work independently and in a team environment be customer focused organized and have excellent communication and problem solving skills! Will need to perform other assigned duties as well!
