Temp to direct hire position for a MACHINE TOOL SOFTWARE ENGINEER with CNC and PLC software programming and design experience needed immediately for rapidly growing Machine Tool Manufacturer in Connecticut to manage new projects from specification to design through final commissioning of the machines. Requires BS Technical and 5 + years experience with Machine Tool Building CNC Manufacturing including any GE FANUC Siemens Allen Bradley or similar PLC software. Must have working knowledge of CNC controls and servo systems with the skills to apply the control and drives to a machine tool expertise with computer operating systems and networking and a proven background in Commissioning and Integration of complete systems. Microsoft Office products including Visio preferred Visual Basic 6.0 and .NET a plus. MUST be willing to travel Domestic and International. Requires high energy candidate with the skills independence and flexibility to meet the fast paced work demands in a small but rapidly expanding company.
