Industry leading company that utilizes cutting edge technology (that others are only reading about) is actively searching for (1) Senior / Lead Test Engineer in the Austin Texas area. RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include providing the technical leadership for testing DeltaV software. Specific duties include the design of test cases building automated test systems development of test scripts and configurations running tests evaluate test results and working with product development teams to resolve test findings. Testing scope covers both software implementation and system usability. The Senior Software Test Engineer will have visibility to the management with an opportunity to succeed and prepare for a leadership role within the technology organization and/or to grow into other challenging roles within the organization. REQUIREMENTS: MUST have a BS degree (Electrical Engineering or Computer Science are preferred). A minimum of 5 years of related experience is required including at least 2 years software test experience. MUST have DeltaV (or related experience). Candidates MUST have hands-on experience (ie field / plant setting) with process control systems (DCS or PLC) and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
