Job Description

Power Plant OandM TECHNICIAN needed in Connecticut. Requires HS education plus minimum 3 to 5 years experience including knowledge of GE 7EA or 7FA gas turbines. A PLUS to have military GSM or ex-Navy Nuke experience. Need knowledge of mechanical instrumentation and electrical equipment. Position responsible for the maintenance and operation of the power facility while assigned on shift. Maintains troubleshoots installs and repairs mechanical equipment electrical equipment and instrumentation including gas turbine steam turbine generators heat recovery steam generator air compressors water treatment equipment demineralizers motors pumps diesel generators and other auxiliary equipment; assists in troubleshooting and inspecting programmable logic controllers and distributed control system; and performs general housekeeping of the facility.
