GREAT OPPORTUNITY! Power engineering firm in the New Orleans area ( Northshore ) is seeking a Transmission Line Engineer. This person will do line design for new power transmission work as well as evaluate and improve existing transmission line designs as needed. Specify permit install and commission new lines. Experience in line layout routing tower sizing tower location sag etc. of power transmission systems is a MUST. MUST be experienced using computerized design packages. Experience with PLS-Cadd a plus. Requires BS in Civil Engineering and 3 to 10+ years experience with a utility or engineering firm. Local residents are preferred but relocation assistance may be available for the right candidate. Great benefits!
