Job Description

Our oil and gas related client is looking for several Instrumentation engineers to be based in Thailand. Your main duties will be the installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning of instrument parts of O&G equipment. Responsibilities will include cable laying, terminal board and wiring connections, instrument installation and wiring, instrument set up and calibration and wiring cold check and insulation check. Fire protection and gas detection system wiring and calibration. Verify Motor control centre, inverter, battery charger, dc/ac motor wiring, assistance during the commissioning and start-up of main and auxiliary equipment. You will have gained an Electrical / Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent Technical High School diploma. You must have 3-5+ years experience in field activities in Oil & Gas Industry. You will have the ability to demonstrate a passion for technology, experience as Electrical /Mechanical/ Instrument Engineer, the ability to work in a Global Environment & travel worldwide with short notice period and be fluent in English (both written and spoken) Our client would prefer candidates of Thai nationality although others will be considered.
