This client is one of the worlds largest engineering construction and services firms. With over 40,000 employees worldwide and operating in the Mining /Minerals, Power, Water, Transport and Oil & Gas industries, they truly are a global engineering giant.
They have recently been engaged by their client, one of the worlds largest mining companies to assist them in a major Iron Ore expansion project in the Pilbara region. Thus they URGENTLY require the services of an experienced Senior / Lead Planner to help facilitate this project.
The Senior / Lead Planner wil assist the senior planner with the development of the overall project schedule, inclusive of reporting requirements. Ensure that the milestone dates included in the tenders are aligned with the overall project schedule, liaise with the engineer / senior planner on changes (if any) to the contracting strategy and potential impacts to the overall project schedule. Assist the senior planner with the review of the schedules / resource plans submitted by the tenderers and subsequent approval of the final schedule submitted by the successful contractor / vendor. Monitoring and reporting of the contractor's / vendor schedule with input into the overall project schedule. The intention is to have this role expanded to cover all packages being progressed off-site.
The successful candidate will possess the relevant qualifications with a minimum of 10-15 years experience in a EPCM / Resources environment. P3 / P5 experience is advantageous
