Functional Mining Software Consultant : Specialising in Mining and Information Systems

This client is keen to find the best of the best; a highly talented and motivated individual who can help facilitate the rise and rise of this market–leading organisation with their exceptional mining and geology knowledge and IT skills. An exciting opportunity awaits the right person. You will have an obvious desire to be a true consultant at heart and the absolute best at what you do.
You will:
Utilise your extensive experience in mining, geology and IT
Liaise and consult with mining clients in relation to software and enterprise resource systems
Perform business analysis and software requirements gathering
Provide software/system solutions to the client
Ensure QA (Quality Assurance) of software and applications
Write specification and briefs for the development team
Liaise and work with the software development team to design the customised ERP solution
Implement and configure the ERP software System
Conduct User Acceptance Testing and On-Site Testing
Undergo 'Go Live' - functional support and maintenance
Undertake some technical sales / pre-sales by demonstrating the ERP or Software products to clients
Participate in vendor / tender activities to gain new contracts (opportunities to implement ERP products)
You will travel around 3 of the calendar months of the year both internationally or interstate to visit clients and go on the mine site
Some of the perks:
Salary will be in excess of $100k + depending on experience
Relocation to Adelaide will be provided
