This large EPCM contract is set to continue for the next 12 months but is open for extension. Site based role. Excellent hourly rates at least a 12 month period. Immediate start. A large EPCM project in Western Australia now requires additional commercial contracts staff. The project is now looking for a site based Contracts Administrator. There will be heavy involvement in administering the contracts for a complex ore handling plant construction project. With the work packages already awarded so this role is due for an IMMEDIATE start. The main focus for the Contracts Administrator will be to ensure all contracts adhere to the terms agreed by the contractors, vendors and suppliers concerned. The role will play a key part in establishing all procedures relating to tendering, contract evaluation, contract administration and claims negotiation. Other duties will include (but will not be limited to): Provide total contract administration support to the project. Liaising with are project staff on matters of contractual adherence. Manage employment related contracts Advise or prepare tender and contract documentation. Analyse and evaluate commercial risk. Manage internal and external stakeholder and project relationships. Streamline and improve contract management process. Maintain records of contractor performance. Provide technical and contract expertise to project team as required. This role will oversee all post contract award phases of the project and work closely with the team responsible for the construction duties as well as working with the main contractors and sub-contractors in order to assess their project devlierables. As an ideal candidate you will also possess: Tertiary qualifications in law, commerce or engineering or significant experience as a Contracts Engineer on an EPCM project. Specific work packages experience which may include SMP, E&I or Civil with values in excess of $100million.
